Excellent. But not so different.
Strengths: Large memory capacity. Genius feature.
Weakness: Nothing very new.
I like my new iPod nano. I previously owned a 2nd gen 8GB nano, and this one is very similar. Slightly smaller, twice the memory, and it has a cool Genius feature that will analyze the songs and put songs together that 'go together'. Also, it has an accelerometer so you can play games that use that feature and it will change views depending on the orientation of the player. I assume this would be useful for watching videos, which I do not do. Other than those 2 features, I think it is pretty much the same as the old one. Nothing exciting here. Still, great price for a 16GB player!
